ya know i've always taken pride in not doing something just cause everyone else was doing it...oh well

1) i refuse to go to sleep before 11:11...i have to see it this is a mixture between superstition, ocd and something corporate

2)my most prized possession i my set of the complete works of william Shakespeare...its beautiful...i saved up for it...it was my first indulgent purchase once i was supporting myself..its not just like...the works...its like the works, bound pretty, hardback etc...loves it

3) i'm studying to teach english to at the 9-12 level....have i said that yet?...i dunno

4)i love serious movies..heavy or artsy (ya know...the kinds that are films not movies) but i can definitely do the chick flicks too...currently in my dvd player? my best friends wedding...if you arent singing that goddam song the rest of the day you arent cool and need to watch that movie again or *gasp* for the first time

5) i made it though 11th grade english without reading any assigned book in its entirety...return to #3 and giggle at the irony

6)i'm single (this whole 8 things thing is easy when no one who reads this knows me AT ALL)

7) my parents kicked me out when i came out...luckily enough tho, i have enough money saved up for college thanks to my grandparents and scholarships (unless there's a big tuition hike )

8) i've never had a significant relationship with anyone (either sex) that's not really what concerns me at this point in my life...id rather have some sex..date casually..i'll cross that relationship bridge when i come to it, i see no reason to bother if im not interested in commiting

so how was everyone's weekend?...all two of you..

i went down to atlanta to visit a few of my friends...good times...we went to a gig on saturday, but on friday my friend and i rented a movie cause we'd seen it advertised at HP5...it was called driving lessons and it had rupert grint (aka ron) anyone? anyone? but anyway it was fucking awesome...the soundtrack was all sufjan stevens, which ya know...rocks. but the story itself was really good and i thought it was really well done...plus there was this hot girl with a scottish accent..accents=sexy...the story is a kid lives with his very christian family living a really sheltered life until he gets a summer job working for a washed up actress to help support his family....i highly suggest you watch it...it was hella good times

now i should really get my ass up and start my day
